What exactly is Face Yoga? by Polina Venter

If we are truly honest with ourselves, we all want to look and feel our personal best, each and every day of our lives. For some of us, that means exercising our bodies to keep ourselves toned and physically strong. But exercising the body will not change the face. Many people look in the mirror and see the face that doesn’t match the body, they see an image that does not truly reflect how they feel inside. And I am here to tell you that with a little time, dedication and discipline, you can look as young as you feel without need of surgery or chemicals. Remaining youthful isn’t about looking a certain age, it’s about looking your best at the age you are. The beauty of Face Yoga is that it gives you an opportunity to create a much more balanced, softened, feminine look to an aging face

Face Yoga is a completely natural way to improve or just maintain the appearance of the face and it’s often referred as a natural face lift. There are no age restrictions as we all have facial muscles and opportunity to train them and it’s never too late to strengthen them to improve skin tone or boost blood circulation.

The essence of Face Yoga is dealing with the cause, not consequences. Skin is only the visible part of getting old. The root of the problem is much deeper. The main cause of sagging skin, wrinkles and faults is muscle condition. Sagging skin occurs when muscles are too weak. Wrinkles and creases occur when muscles are too tense. Face Yoga helps tone weak muscles and relax tense muscles as well as helping restore muscle tissue, elasticity and tone. Face Yoga has grown in popularity because of its success rate and, like other forms of yoga, it is also concerned with developing a person’s sense of well-being.

Face Yoga benefits include:

  1. Boosted blood circulation, which increases the natural collagen and elastin in the skin, creating healthier skin cells and a more vibrant complexion.

  2. The exercises should strengthen and tone all 57 muscles in the face, neck and scalp. This helps to widen the eyes, lift the cheeks, lift mouth corners, firm the jawline, and so much more.

  3. Face Yoga should help smooth fine lines. This happens as the weakened muscles are toned and lifted back towards their original position. The skin in the face, unlike the skin on the rest of the body, is attached to the muscles in the face. So, the skin is tightened and smoothed as the muscles are toned (lifted back towards their original position) and strengthened. Keeping muscles in the face strong is one way to prevent wrinkles.

Besides that, Face Yoga offers much more, it is about interacting with your body and taking very kind, gentle care of yourself. It is about self-confidence, understanding your internal processes and the ability to negotiate with your body. It provides guidance on how to support your body to grow beautifully.

So, if you are passionate about natural approach to aging that has no side-effects and want to keep your face good-looking for a long time, then Face Yoga is a great solution!
